#98 white scrub pads

by Mari
(Kempton Park - South Africa)

I live in South Africa and we don't have this brand. Can you tell me what it is made of and how ruff is the scrubbing? I find a lot of times people talk about products they use, but we, that don't live in the USA have to find something similar locally. For instance, I want to thank you for advising me on the Mothers wax. But over here in South Africa I just bought a normal car wax and worked like a dream.

Answer

The white scrub pads are similar to These I'm sure they would work for you.

If you can't find Mother's Wax, make sure you get a car wax that is pure carnauba wax. If what you got isn't pure carnauba, it might work for the short term, but will not give the long term protection that pure carnauba gives. Mother's is available in South Africa Here.

Carnauba Wax NEW
by: Anonymous

Is Mother's Carnauba Cleaner Wax the same thing as Mother's Carnauba Wax? There is no list of ingredients on the container but that is all I seem to find here in my corner of the world.

Reply
It will work just as well as the cleaner wax.

What People
Are Saying

You can't imagine how much I wish I had found your incredible website before I spent many hundreds of dollars on lessons, dvd's, tutorials, etc. I can tell that everything I need to know can be found here. All I can say is "Thank You!" Larry

I can't thank you enough for this site. The new search feature is amazing and it makes it so easy to find exactly what I am looking for. Thank you again! Laurie

Your site is fantastic! I took a six week class four years ago and recently started again (after forgetting almost everything I learned!). I have to say that your site is excellent and I can't wait to practice the techniques you've shown. Scarlet

I'm a subscriber to your "Stained Glass Gems" and I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your wonderful site! This is by far the best glass site I've run across. I recently purchased your publication on Patina FAQ and it's very helpful for me... I like to have hard copies of info so I added it to my library. Suzanna
