An Interesting Web Site

by Sue

Hi,

It's Sue here. I have been corresponding with a man who lives in Poland. He does stained glass work and teaches it as well. His first email was asking me if he could translate my web site into Polish and give the transcript to his friends. They are doing stained glass but don't read or understand English. We have continued corresponding since that time.

David has his own web site, and I have found it quite impressive. I understand what it must be like for his friends, because I don't read or understand Polish. David's site is in Polish, but even without understanding the language, it's still interesting to look at. The video is a must see.

You can view his site at Easy Art.

Enjoy,
Sue

Pattern Cutter NEW

Interesting. It looked like he was using a roller cutter of some kind on his pattern. Is that right or was I seeing things! (again!) ;-)

David.

I found the Polish leadlighting website very good. As you said Sue, you don't need to be able to read or understand Polish to comprehend what the people from e-art are doing. The video's are fun and interesting to watch. It's interesting to see how one person will be leading up while the other person is soldering! A mini mass produce assembly line! It was interesting to see that they wash the cut pieces of glass before they lead up. I think thats what they were doing...(they speed up the film so it doesn't take too long to see the whole process). Definately worth a look!!!

What People
Are Saying

You can't imagine how much I wish I had found your incredible website before I spent many hundreds of dollars on lessons, dvd's, tutorials, etc. I can tell that everything I need to know can be found here. All I can say is "Thank You!" Larry

I can't thank you enough for this site. The new search feature is amazing and it makes it so easy to find exactly what I am looking for. Thank you again! Laurie

Your site is fantastic! I took a six week class four years ago and recently started again (after forgetting almost everything I learned!). I have to say that your site is excellent and I can't wait to practice the techniques you've shown. Scarlet

I'm a subscriber to your "Stained Glass Gems" and I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your wonderful site! This is by far the best glass site I've run across. I recently purchased your publication on Patina FAQ and it's very helpful for me... I like to have hard copies of info so I added it to my library. Suzanna
