Antique Victorian Panel... Combination of Lead Came and Copper Foil

by Ann
(Hoover, AL)

Antique Victorian

Antique Victorian

I used a combination of lead came and copper foil. The borders are came and the center is copper foil. The design is from "Antique Windows" by Marick Studios. It was designed for the copper foil method - combining both methods was my idea. The frame was stained in dark walnut and was made using instructions published in Glass Patterns Quarterly. I've been doing stained glass for about 7 years but am still learning.

Ann,
I liked your panel, both in terms of the choice of colors and the technique.
I'm sure you enjoy having it.
