Bull Kelp

by Carrie

Bull Kelp transom

Bull Kelp transom

I took a beginners class in the late summer. I just completed my first panel, a transom over my french doors. It is a picture of Bull Kelp, I live on Vancouver island, and love the west coast. The panel is in three pieces and is 6' x 13". The third panel has a salmon hiding in the kelp. As this was my first piece and an original design, I learnt may things and would change and perfect parts of it if I did it again, for the most part I'm happy. Just need to fasten it in place.
