Copper foil/Clear glass

What is the best copper foil to use with clear glass. I have black back or just the regular copper foil. Either will show through.....

It depends on whether or not you will patina the solder. If you are going to leave it silver color, get silver back foil, black patina...black back foil, copper patina...regular copper foil.
