I Love Your Website...................

by Joan Prior
(Brantford, Ontario Canada)

Just found this wonderful site of my passion. Christmas is in 4 days, and everything is ready......now I can concentrate on my craft in the New Year 2008.

I would love to buy the book "Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain". Please tell me how to order it.

I am not a fan of caming but your instruction page will help me reconsider.

Please don't worry about answering until after the Christmas Season as I am away for this coming week, but I will look forward to hearing from you in the New Year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family.

Answer

Hi Joan,

Thank you for your kind words about my web site. It's always nice to hear that my web site is helping my fellow stained glassers.

The book Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain, by Betty Edwards, can be found at most book stores either on-line or in your local area. I like using Best Web Buys to find books. You can buy books either new or used, at pretty low prices.

I hope you'll try lead came again. It really isn't any more difficult than copper foil, it's just different.

Have a New Year full of fun with your glass work,
Sue

Photography-leadlight work...
by: David Shrubshall-Melbourne, Australia

Hi Sue,

Do you have any tips about taking photo's of leadlight work?
I've tried hanging from the clothesline, inside a pergola,
on a window and behind a sheet!

Thanks, also, for all your help this year and wish you and your family a happy new year!!!

Hi David,
I'm going to make this a new submission so that everyone see's it. It's a good subject and hopefully will bring some comments that will enlighten all of us on photographing stained glass.

Sue
