What a fantastic hint. You can bet I won't forget this. Another hint: When using mirror as the box bottom. If you need to grind your edges smooth, cover the bottom with contact paper, it's cheap and won't hinder your grinding. When finished and the piece is clean and dry, give it at least two coats of sealer. I use black, grill high heat paint with no problems. Just be sure and coat those edges. That was why the box bottom had to be replaced. I dodn't do a good enough job of coating the edges. AND DO NOT lift your foil from the edge while placing it on the edge. It can remove the sealer you just put on........hope this helos at least one person |
