LED Micro-controlled Stained Glass Firefly Pendant

by Sue

If you're into electronics as well as stained glass, here's something that might set your creative juices flowing. It's definitely a different technique, and probably not as "stained glass" as most of you would like. However, I can see someone getting really creative with this, incorporating parts of the technique into a stained glass panel.

I could see this used in a Starry Night panel, with twinkling stars. Like I said, this is not for everyone, but I'll bet there's someone out there that could have some fun with it. I'll admit that the workmanship isn't the best, but putting the idea to use is what I'm focusing on.

To see this flickering firefly, click here. You'll need to watch the video to see it in action.

If anyone ever does something with this, please put a picture in the photo gallery so we can see it.

Enjoy,
Sue
