Dragonfly Software
Click on the small blue oval that says "Design Of The Month" at the bottom left of the page. At the bottom of each page there on will be a place to click to see the previous months design. None of them are easy, but all are beautiful and there is a lot of very interesting and useful information given with each design. This site is well worth the visit. There is also a free download of the trial version of Dragonfly software which will give you 30 days use. This is the site for Rapid Resizer and Pattern Wizard. I highly recommend Rapid Resizer. I use it frequently. I have not used the Pattern Wizard, as I like to draw free hand, but I have heard many people recommend it. You can get a free trial period for both Resizer and Wizard before you decide to buy.

Stained Glass Patterns dot org
This is not a free pattern site, but it goes into detail about making your own patterns. There are some interesting concepts, especially if you use pattern making software, photography software or are familiar with using Microsoft Paint. It is definitely worth a look.

Free Quilt Patterns Here is a separate page with 100's of free quilt patterns to look through. Even though they are for quilts, most of them are quite appropriate for stained glass with out having to change a thing. They are all easy enough for beginners, but any skill level could have fun with them.

Free Mosaic Patterns Doing a mosaic is a good way to use up your scrap glass. It's pretty easy to do, and a good way to tap into your creativity.
