Material to make top of fish head in mosaics.

by amie
(Gibsons BC Canada)

I am doing "Nemo" in stained glass mosaics - photo attached. I am stumped as to what to use for his "curls". That piece running down the top of his head. Wondering if you know of some type of aluminum that can be bent and snipped and then glued on??

Suggestions would be most welcome.

Answer

My suggestion would be either sheet copper or sheet aluminum. The sheet copper could be tinned first if you want a silver color.
