Chief's Glass

I made this for my husband a few years ago. He is a retired Sr. Chief. The piece took about six weeks to complete and it's done in copper foil. The original design came from a patch he owns and I just thought it would translate well into glass. It is a 20" round (finished). I achieved the rope effect by cutting the pieces and overlaying them with twisted wire. The stars and Chiefs' insignia are three dimensional and attached with silicone glue.

It says so much about you (not just how talented you are--and you are) that you would take such time and care to make the glass emblem for your husband. You must be very caring and devoted, as well as very talented. The rope is amazing and the flag effect is great.
