Putting Patterns on Glass

Hi,
I am really into the recycle business of painting on bottles and making them into lamps. But having a problem trying to draw the pattern on the glass. Do you have any little tip you could give me? The graphite paper really doesn't work too well...
AnswerHi Ruby,
Make a stencil using contact paper.
Try carbon paper instead of the graphite paper.
Put your pattern inside the bottle so you could see it through the glass. I don't know what size bottles you use, or if the opening is large enough to get the pattern in there and stuck in place with glue. It would wash out when you're done.
Or use my
making pattern pieces method. That's all I can think of.
Perhaps someone reading this has some ideas.
Good luck with your lamps. If you care to, send a picture when you have one finished. They sound interesting.
