Rainbow Trilogy
by Jan Neff-Sinclair
(Carlsbad, CA USA)
These three pieces were made from the same
pattern which I designed. The top one is
leaded while the bottom two are copper-
foiled. The bottom one has half-circle
beveled pieces attached to its sides so that
it can stand as opposed to being hung in a
window. I've only been doing stained glass
for about a year, but I am running out of
windows to hang things in :-)
I used copper patina on the middle piece
and black on the bottom. Each of the two
top pieces uses a different hanging method
and I prefer the hangers I used on the top
one versus the hand-made ones on the middle
piece.
The top two pieces were recently sold at a
student art sale at the junior college where
I study stained glass, so I am very glad I
happened to take photos of them one sunny
day.
