Shelf Life of Copper Foil

What is the shelf life for a roll of unwrapped copper foil?

Hi Lauren,

One to two years is what most foil manufacturers recommend. However, I have unwrapped rolls of Edco foil that have been in my studio for 10 years (I buy my foil in bulk) and they are still perfectly fine. I keep them in a plastic container that has a tight fitting lid, and they are stored on a shelf out of direct sunlight.

I have read that some people keep their foil in the refrigerator to preserve the adhesive.
