Silver foil on textured glass

Donna Answer You might have a defective roll of silver foil. Occasionally you'll get a roll of (any) foil that just won't stick, no matter what you do. If you're sure the foil is okay, try cleaning the glass with alcohol and a toothbrush. That will get the crevices absolutely clean, and alcohol appears to make foil stick better.
