Something To Do With Scrap Glass

by Dave Barber
(Rockton, Il )

I cut my smaller pcs of glass into mosaic sized pcs then put them in a rock tumbler with some water and let them tumble for a couple of days to knock off the sharp edges. Nice to handle and the tumblers are reasonable at hobby centers. It's something to do with all small pcs of glass.

I love the scraps
by: Lancashire lass UK

I keep my scraps stored according to COE, such as all Bullseye together etc, then I know they are compatible for fusing.
I also fill up spaces in my kiln in between work so that the scraps become smooth blobs that are great for kids to stick onto glass with pritt stick for fusing.
