Surfer Joe

This is done in copper foil and once I finished it, a friend named Joe showed up after 15 years. He had been surfing in Hawaii. I named it after him.

I used black enamel paint with a very tiny brush. I have since framed it and love it.

That's a great piece - really gives you the feel of a big wave. Did you paint the nose on?? If so what did you use?
