Nice Tones
by: Stained glass mosaic

I Love the use of closely toned blue glass, very effective. Often a limited color range works best in stained glass.

Making the Pattern
by: Lisa Seger

I actually just traced the mirror that came out of the frame. But then of course, the piece grew as I was assembling and soldering, so my husband had to do a little routing out of the frame in order to make the piece fit. Thank God he is so handy with the router because my pieces often grow when I am assembling, and then don't fit the frame. According to Sue, I need to be scoring my pieces inside my traceline, not outside or down the middle of the trace line. I tried that on a piece I made yesterday and it worked like a charm. (Thanks again Sue!)

Combing Stain Glass with Antique Frames
by: Joyce

This is beautiful!! I also look for old frames from dresser tops that I can use to compliment my glass. When measuring inside the frame to determine the glass size, what rule do you follow to get a proper fit?
Thank you.
