Use Drapery Hooks
by: Gin

I use this on all my zinc framed panels. It works great, no more worry about "O" rings coming apart and the panel falling. Use a dremel to drill holes in the zinc about 1.5 - 2 inches from top of frame, attach S hooks and chain.

Carolyn...could you give us a larger picture? This one is so small that I can't read the writing and it gets distorted when I enlarge it. From what I can see, it looks like a good solution to the problem.

The picture is now at the top of the page just above the question.

ZINC FRAMES
by: GARGOYLE

I HAVE DONE SEVERAL ZINC FRAMES AND I PUT WIRE CABLE THROUGH BOTH SIDES AND THE BOTTOM, FORMING A U. THEN, LOOP THE CABLE BACK ON IT'S SELF, FORMING A LOOP, SOLDER. THAT WAY THE CABLE GOING AROUND THE BOTTOM AND SIDES DISTIBUTES THE WEIGHT. PUTTING THE CABLE THROUGH BEFORE YOU SOLDER THE ZINC ON THE WINDOW MAKES IT EASIER.
