Soldering Problem
by: Trish Christiansen

Thanks for the suggestions!
The lead I am using is new, however I did stretch it first. Don't know if that would cause the problem. The flux I use is about a year old. I NEVER dip into the bottle, I pour it into another container a little at a time. I use 50/50 solder and no heat controller on my soldering gun. I did buy my solder in bulk. How would I know if it has oxidized? Would it change color? The REALLY strange thing is that the solder sticks fine to the front of the glass piece, but not the back!! I think I'm loosing my mind! :(
Thanks for all your help!
