Hi Mark!

I was searching for a pattern for a terrarium and found you. Wow! Your work is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully someday, I will be able to create a piece of art, even close to what you have done!

Stunning!

Thank You for Comments About Terrarium
by: Mark Busha

Thank you both for the kind comments.
Actually, the piece is in in four sections, so you can maintain plants inside. The dome, center and two side wings lift off. It sets on the base in a channel routed about 1/4 inch deep. The assembly of the dome was not too hard, I worked on a Styrofoam ball I bought at a craft shop. The tricky part was figuring out the size and shape of the pieces.

You may have only gotten an honorable mention, but I don't see why you didn't win. I am in AWE!!! Very impressive...great work.

Beautiful!
by: Lisa Seger

What a beautiful piece. It deserves more than an honorable mention for sure. I have a question...how hard was it to assemble the entire piece and did you do sections of it, then solder tack it? What did you use to fix it to the base?
Very inspired, and inspiring! I am only just starting with 3D projects, and struggling to get my pieces to meet correctly.
Thanks for sharing!
